Hotspell

The HotSpell team cast around the country and from thousands of hopefuls that applied, only the 20 hottest spellers get to compete.
By the end of the series only one will be left.
The 20 HotSpell contestants come from different backgrounds - with vastly different personalities -- and perform like elite athletes. From country boy Tom who spells up a storm while working in the shearing shed to 12 year-old Chelsea who has skipped two years of school, they are a diverse group of very talented children.

Their talent is words, and spelling them properly. And watching these kids trying to spell on the spot has all the drama, tension, and triumph of a great sporting event.
