Goodbye Lexie

Lexie is leaving Glenbogle.
After she kissed with Paul, she had to do the right thing and that is to be with her man Archie in New Sealand. Paul is in tears and Lexie also.

Did we ever figure out more about why Archie left? I know originally it was b/c of doing some journey w/his sister to where there dad had been..but then he wants to do the NY restaurant for Kilwillie & the last we hear he's in New Zealand-why was he there? I think the writers didn't make that plot line very strong or clear. Fill me in please.

I don't get that ether. I think they climmed the mountain, then he stay's there. The restaurant thing wasn't it. He first got to the mountain, then he go to New Zealand. I think

I HATED that paul tried to steal Lexie, I mean Archie and Lexie were made for each other. Paul is the only caracter I can say a honestly hate.

But why did Archie decide for her (and him) that they have to leave glenbogle? I find that so hard on her. Se deserve more than that.

I really liked Paul and Lexie together. She was meant to be at Glenbogle! Paul has not had an easy life and the fact that Archie had yet another flight of fancy, leaving Lexie behind, just irked me! I believe Paul and Lexie would have made an awesome couple. Let's face it, whether Archie wanted it or not, he became Laird and walked away from his duties....as a laird and a husband! He didn't deserve Lexie!!! I LOVE this scene and the music. Thanks for sharing it with us!

I must say, I agree with you. Lexie and Archie were cute together but he left her alone on glenbogle en decide for her that she had to go with him. Glenbogle was her home. After that scene, I can't look the same at Archie. Also he were in love with katrina and all the other ;) Paul was different. He was more drama and emotion.

I thought he was going to some other place to climb the mountain. Then the next we hear is that Lexie gets a phone call at the end of an ep, then she decides to go there, comes back distraught, wants Duncan to go visit/work in NZ, & she starts 2 like Paul, they both decide that's not the right thing & she goes back 2 NZ. Kind of stupid. Then Molly is gone 4 a few ep's (we don't know what happened 2 her), some of it was the heart thing, & the other is that she's in NZ-nothing is said abt L&A

Archie was terrible unfair to up and go and all. But still Archie and Lexie belong together. I try convincing myself that they happened because Lexie was lonely and trying to hold on to Glenbogle. so right, she doesn't love paul :)

Lexie was by far my favourite character.

It's only a tv show BUT when Archie accepted his birthright as Laird I thought that was the honourable thing to do. THEN he ups & leaves? In my culture, quite similar, you don't accept that kind of title/position/birthright and then take off. It never made sense how the writers took out Archie. Lexie was my fave character in MOTG... Archie should've taken her the 1st time.

God this scene always makes me cry its the fact my beloved Lexie is leaving after 51 episodes she truly grew the most as a character over 5 and a half series and I will always enjoy watching the whole series over and over just to rewatch her journey.

Well not nessacerily happy, but she knows shes going to a better place and is doing the right thing, and she knows she doesnt love paul :)

Do you think Lexie looks happy at the end? I think she has tears in her eyes. But then again, she should be better with Archie. Paul is kissing a women, each time he has left one. That's not really normal, I think.

I love the song at the end too....do you know whats its called?.....just watching it again and am happy to see that Lexie actually looks happy when shes looking out of the train window at the very end...which is good as Archie is way better than paul :D

I agree, but I think this is a beautiful scene. I find it so strange, that Molly and Paul don't say anything about Lexie and Archie. Their names never came by again. So sad, because it is even harder to accept that they are gone, out of the serie. :(

Thanks for the upload but....this storyline just never should have/would have happened!!!! Lexie loved Archie way too much..after the years she spent going after him??....come on..its just so unbelievable!! I think the writers just wanted a bit of romance in the show and didnt know where to go to find it...so they thought man..women...throw them together and I just dont think they really thought about it!!!
