Stop the Garrett's Eviction

The Garrett family fell behind on their mortgage when their daughter was laid off and the father had a stroke. William is blind, disabled and needs to stay in the single-story Detroit home where the family has lived for 22 years.
Bank of New York Mellon Trust (yes they received billions of taxpayer money) is evicting Bertha & William Garrett of Detroit after agreeing to let the Garrett's buy the house back for the $12,000 the bank paid at foreclosure sale.
The Garrett's scraped together the $12,000 and suddenly the bank raised the price and announced that a dumpster for their belongings would arrive Monday, January 30, 2012

Contact the Bank's headquarters at 1-213-630-6400 and demand they put people before profit.
