Sad to say I aree with you hueseph, I have watched other expert village demos and they have all been very poor and in one case dangerous. Having a difference of opinion or style is one thing but using people who have little knowledge themselves to teach ??! Expert village should either be renamed or use real experts!

@hueseph Okay well, he does try to perform some Paco De Lucia but then if you look at the related posts, you see some posts of the same piece at tempo by others. It bothers me that "expert" village is so full of beginners. Hardly experts. Would you rather learn from a student or a master? There are no masters in "expert" village.

Is anybody at all concerned that it's difficult to find anything more than a few demonstrations of basic technique from this guy? Does he actually perform or do anything more than a demonstration of technique?

is there any point of using the index finger for that action?
I find it nauturally easier to use the thumb for the same sound.
