FSX: F-35 Lightning II Carrier Takeoff and Landing

A Lockheed-Martin F-35 Lightning II performs a short takeoff and landing aboard one of the many static aircraft carriers found throughout Flight Simulator X.

Whats the big Deal with this New Aircraft the Harrier (jump jet) (system designed and built in Northern Ireland UK) Was doing this years ago!!!

The F-35B (the STOVL variant) is meant to replace the aging Harrier, which has been in service since 1969. To put it frankly, the Harriers were getting too old and a more modern jet with the same STOVL capabilities was needed to fill the Harrier's role as an attack/strike fighter. The F-35B filled these requirements and added some stealth capability to the mix.
