  • Good review but three things that would have been nice to know: Start-up time, DVD upscaling and functionality/quality of the remote control. My favourite bits: Enthernet, newtube and sonic blu-ray player. ^_^

  • @Artherz Thanks for the feedback, will keep note of that for future reviews. :)

  • all sony bluray players that I've seen so far kinda "lag" during browsing menus if you compare them to the ps3.same is with their tvs.don't forget the ps3 has very powerful cpus and is a capable computer while this is just a bluray player and does not need a cpu...

  • @kaskoo2 Except one blu-ray player, the BDP-SX1 (portable) has a very near smooth interface. :)

  • Is the HDMI cable needed? Like for quality purpose?

  • @ichimaru Yes, you need the HDMI cable for best quality. :)

  • oh my days you sound like scott mills!

  • What do people expect for their money. I payed £70 for mine from blockbuster and it does what it said on the box. Its a nice basic easy to use blu ray player with a usb for divx playback and well worth the money.............

  • @johnnythebestify You need an Ethernet cable as this doesn't support wireless, hope this helps. :)

  • Hi
