  • i just got second life and i updated my video driver for it i use a dell with a 64MB NVIDEA Gforce2 MX with TV out, but the graphics when i play the game look like they dont finish loading, half of the objects are missing , can anyone help me?

  • Try the SL support site... they'll be able to help you better. Sounds like maybe your network is slow, though. SL drops objects out when it can't get them from the server.

  • good modeling but there´s no info or any explanation in this tutorial what format is sculpted prim format. There´s no such file format in 3d studio, cinema 4d .

  • It's for AC3D -> Second Life (see description of video)

  • I can see that. My question was only in what format you save the file from AC3D?

  • Oh! .TGA

  • For some reason I didnt get sculpty cube with my AC3D :/

  • im starting to make biplane sculpts in ac3d. But part of my sculp weirdly sticks out and deforms.

  • it is really a nice Tut, BUT where is the REST? there is a large part missing... like the TEXTURING, how you bake the light into the texture of the pear... etc. I hope and beg that you make the second part of it.

  • I want to try this for SL, but I don't understand the textures either. How can I unfold this and use Gimp to paint what i want on the surface? That is the biggest issue for me and scuptys at the moment.

  • For organic and art modeling I recommend 3ds Max.

Autocad is primarily for precise architectural or mechanical drawings.

  • First of all, load texture to Object => Texture.

Then, select surface to add texture to it and then...

...open Tools => Texture Coordinate Editor and set the textures.

    Simple.

  • How do you add textures to the models? is it in the editor AC3D itself? if so how??

  • Will thinking before typing damage your brain?

  • i found this program the easiest OF ALL that is compatible for SL that is... i mean i seriously love this

  • for the demo will it damage my computer?
