Eastside Ravens vs Browns Plains Bears
Both teams had to battle hard to earn their spot in the big game, and now neither team will be ready to surrender their chance at the title. Eastside needed overtime to take care of the Spartans and will look to finetune and get healthy in the lead up to the Sunbowl. WR Jordan Seeto proved why he is as valuable a player as any in the junior competition, with a receiving TD and a punt return score. It will be the Ravens defense that will be challenged by the Bears, whose outside run game and misdirection killed the Bayside teams hopes last week. Both teams scored on special teams in their playoff wins and they could again play a factor in this contest. The Bears will need to pressure Ravens QB Phil Cottis to disrupt their offensive rhythm and the Eastside linebackers must ensure they keep contain to force the Bears offense back into the teeth of the 'd'. This should be a fitting finale to what has been a great season of junior football.
