If you get a chance to watch Aaron Russo's "Freedom to Fascism," you will realize that there is no law that the IRS can show you that indicates we must pay an un-apportioned tax. IT WAS NEVER RATIFIED BY A MAJORITY OF CONGRESS! Taxes must be apportioned, and the description given to what can be taxed is "gains" made from stocks, bonds and investments, NOT ON PERSONAL INCOME! Since Congress represents corporate lobbyists, and not taxpayers, this is taxation without representation!

So the FED already has 1.5 to 2 trillion $ of worthless mortgage backed securities on there books and now they are adding on to it least 600 billion $ of treasury bonds and more to come in the future. How can Bernanke say that he can raise interest rate in 15 min. if needed to do so ?
