  • It has strings in the gauges I first described to you: 060-050-040-026-016-010, though I may have replaced the 1st string with an .011. Strings 6-through-3 are flatwound, which many Jazz players prefer. I haven't been able to find a flatwound guitar string as heavy as .060--that guitar's 6th string is actually a flatwound bass string with a new "end" swaged on. I swapped the bridge out with another Ibanez Artcore guitar that had a rosewood saddle.
