From Japan, this 1982 direct-drive turntable it is the size of a vinyl cover and uses a linear tracking arm. It can play front to end of the record, can be programmed to sequence your choice, or ignore your choice, of tracks using 10 electronic push buttons. It can manually switch tracks and has repeat too.

  • Thank you! :-D

  • @Kemet09 i just got one of these at a thrift store. the track buttons dont work at all, i will try to fix it and tell you what the problem is.

  • got a question, someone knows how i can control the weight of the cartridge stylus? i mean, some scratched vinyls sometimes need more weight !

  • I have this TT.... I like it but I think the Logic has gone bad on it.... The track selection seems to work when it feels like it... Any simple fix for this a system reset?

  • These absolutely do not scratch your vinyl up unless there is a garbage cartridge being used or the unit is being dropped while playing. If nothing elsed they are far less likely to damage your records than a table with a traditional pivoting arm system. I own and have owned many tables some linear tracking some not. Including my current Linn LP/Ittok/Valhalla combo.

  • I picked one of these up in great shape from Hamvention this past weekend. Its a very cool turntable that should appeal to those who want their turntable to operate more like a CD player.

  • In response to your comment godofwatt, they don't damage your collection. If this was fitted with a ceramic type stylus, it may be a different story and I would agree with you. Although these linear trackers can be frowned upon in the audiophile world, they're not that bad and minimise human contact with the vinyl which is where most of the damage happens. These use a P Mount style MM cartridge as opposed to a ceramic type.

  • these things are junk they scratch your vinyl up
