Technically we ALL have to argue an agnostic viewpoint, since not a single one of us (not even those who truly feel it in their heart, sorry) can be absolutely sure either way, theist or not. I always assume that agnosticism is implied whenever someone says they don't believe in God. There's a difference between "not believing in God" and "believing there is no God".
"Atheists believe God doesn't exist." this video is perfect with that definition. From this video and several comments, I'm guessing that most atheists prefer it worded a different way: "Atheists do not hold the belief God exists".
I'm beginning to think NOBODY, even many atheists, knows the meaning of the word. The prefix 'a' essentially means "not." Thus "atheist" simply means "not theist."
A theist, by definition, believes (and for the record I have no problem with this word, whatever atheists do need to stop their bitching), believes in one or more deities who interact(s) with the universe in some way (the contrary would be deism). So anyone who does not believe this--deists, agnostics, apathetic--is an atheist. Okay?
@GuitarMannnnnn@GuitarMannnnnn but i still don't get what you mean. do you not believe JFK's assassination was a conspiracy because you have done your own investigation and found conclusive evidence Oswald acted alone? Or because, without sufficient evidence of a conspiracy, you accept a default hypothesis that Oswald acted alone. Or, you think there's lack of evidence either way. Or you, personally, just don't know whether it was or wasn't? Or, other?
NO. Atheism is not a belief. Is transparent a color? This is the same non-sense question.
If you wish to know what is atheism, just ask yourself: Do I believe in Apollo, Zeus and Thor?
NO? Ok, then you are atheist for them. Is it your non-believing of Zeus a religion???? O_o

@MrBoomSonic I think the vast majority of the sciences hint at the non-existent of a deity, or at the very least an unintelligent god.

This video is even more non-sensical than the first.
