Well the desciption says that it is an "inground ground hydraulic"
(inwater lol) If the elvator doesn't go lower than
deck 6, the telescoping cylinder might begin at deck 4 or 3.

But of course they're not conventional hydraulic!

@ATITANIC1992 I was thinking that in-ground hydraulic would not work on ships if it served all decks and that you would need holeless to serve all decks
