  • @CrystalPalace1990 this is not a serene song. Anyone who interprets it in that fashion should not be allowed to sing it. The serenity, such as it is, is resignation in the face of death. If there are no troubling undercurrents, it is a performance manque

  • i studied this at AS level....then did it for performance .....in this key...XD

  • Yeah, the harmony is insanely good. It modulates into D Sharp Minor xD

  • shame this is transposed down a major third because it sounds much more serene when in a higher register, still a lovely voice
