Arma 2 - Operation Arrowhead: Night Gameplay

Just a short gameplay video of a mission I quickly made in the editor. As you will see, the way the AI navigate through urban terrain in Arrowhead is amazing, watch as one soldier properly navigates, scans, and clears a doorway before moving through it.

Also enjoy me getting owned, aiming without using a crosshair, and without using sights, and with maximum weapon floating zone, and with super zoomed in view, is very hard...lol!

(I did all that to try and achieve a very basic helmet cam effect without doing any editing)

Alright guys I need a bit of advice again. So, I know that most ArmA2 players think that OFP2:DR is a bad game, BUT:

I have Modded Warfail 2 and my mate is getting OFP2:DR. He wants MW2 really badly so he offered to trade his OFP2:DR for my MW2. Is that a fair trade to me >_>? Getting rid of MW2 and getting OFP2:DR?

Nooooo! MW2 is actually a very fun game when you want a break from Arma 2 and other more serious games. On the other hand, DR is just crap in every way possible, and is not fun or realistic.

Richie, the noob comments about your aiming in the movie were inevitable. Just ignore them - they obviously can't appreciate the artistic content of your movie. I found your vid to convey a lot of immersion and I liked it. TBH, as far as I'm concerned, you're the best Arma movie maker I've found. Keep up the good work!

I like both COD and ARMA 2.

COD I play more when I'v got nothing to do.

ARMA 2 I play for the realism.

I don't like COD though how unrealistic the snipers and how you finish killing a bunch of enemys in one room then you walk into the next, and what do you know it's gun blazing.

So I think ARMA 2 is better. (Plus I like the way the troops and guns look in it better too)

the night vision googles looks realy good! For me its getting almost totaly dark after a while and in the beginning I can only se a few metres.

@fia2322 It would be worth it if you took the OFP:DR DvD, carefully attached a series of razors along its contemptuous edge with a strong adhesive, and flung it as hard as you could in the general direction of Sion Lenton (Head of DR team). With not just a little luck you may damage his ability to shit on Operation Flashpoint fans with his insulting lies which he seems to consider as marketing. Either way it would fuck him up, and that could only be a good thing.
