Video description:

This is the sound recording of the original 'Heart & Soul' in the 1930's (1938). The music was written by Hoagy Carmichael, the lyrics were written by Frank Loesser, the song was actually performed by Larry Clinton & his Orchestra.

It is often played as a duet, in C Major. It is a popularly played piece on the piano, however this song (the original) is actually no where on YouTube, which is why I am uploading it.

I first became interested in this, (after being able to play a fairly good version myself), I found a video of it, and researched it a little.

It is, possibly most famously featured in the film Big, where Tom Hanks plays it on a supersize keyboard. (It's also the theme tune for Big)

Another popular appearance was in Stuart Little. Without further ado, thanks for listening.
