Enjoy this latest trailer for the Jaws retrospective documentary, The Shark is Still Working. Notice the familiar voice doing its narration. It is none other than Percy Rodrigues who voiced the original trailer for Jaws in 1975.

  • can anyone PLEASE PLEASE tell me where i can buy a copy of this documentary????????

  • So sorry for the frustration on not being able to find a copy. There's a logical reason though. It's not out yet. It's done and ready, but having a hard time getting distribution. You can stay up to spedd whenever anything big happens at the Shark is Still Working website or its myspace page.

  • Hey could i post this on my myspace, if possible, how do i do it? Thanks

  • Absolutely!! Please do. Just copy and paste the "embedded" code above wherever you want it to go in your profile! Thanks

  • Still waiting and waiting and waiting...

  • By the time TSISW documentary comes out in theatres or on DVD, every person who was involved in the making of the original JAWS in 1975 will have all died and joined Benchley, Scheider and Percy Rodrigues in Hollywood Heaven.

  • love you and miss you very much uncle percy

  • Percy Rodrigues is my hero!

  • @dionisio454 I'm not surprised at all that you enjoyed the film JAWS after 35 years, because all of us JAWS FANS DO!Roy Scheider died in 2008 at age 75. Robert Shaw died in 1978 (year of JAWS 2) at age 51; Film Editor Verna Fields died in 1982, this past year, co-producer David Brown died at the age of 93. So, as you can see, a lot of the people involved in the making of this film have passed away and JAWS keeps their memory alive for years to come.

  • i would like to know if anyone can tell me the following: the scene that kwint - robert shaw- cuts the rope - to try to avoid that the shark won't rip the back part of the boat - and imediatly after stakes that big large knife on wood at the edge of the boat..that very scene with the knife, the water behind with the light of the sun reflected on the water..is that scene a homage or a reference that spielberg payed to any other film?..as for instance..'a knife on the water' by Polanski? thanks

  • @Victor1970s Wow!! I saw the film yesterday night again after 35 years for the - maybe - tenth time - and was choked now to know that roy scheider has past away!!..when did it happen? Thanks for telling me

  • RIP Percy Rodrigues

  • @gregorkrause that would have been AWESOME

  • @PeterHBne1 I absolutely agree. The shark was absolutely terrifying. Yet so many people question how good it actually looks. There is no question. CGU vs Animatronic- I absolutely vote animatronic. The Mayfair Theatre (in Ottawa, the greatest theatre around should you choose to go to it) played this with following it on June 5th. It was one of the greatest film experiences of my life. Also, there is quite a fantastic bonus feature that came out with the 25th anniversary edition.

  • I love Richard Dreyfuss!

  • Thank God this film was made before CGI. Can you imagine a CGI shark??? Boring.

I think the title of this doco is half the reason it hasn't been released. It makes it sound like a pisstake or a joke movie.
