Song from one of the all time classic Pakistani movies. One of the best Pakistani films of the 1960s. Brilliantly directed by S.M.Yousuf. Great performances by Darpan, Nayyar Sultana and Shamim Ara. A story of two friends both falling in love with the same person. This was the first film that Aslam Pervez came as Villian. The film had a wonderful music score by A.Hameed. This song has also been copied in Bollywood. The song is in the sweet voice of Naseem Begum.

  • This song like so many other numerous Pakistani songs have been copied by Bollywood.

  • The one playing the Piano is Nayyar Sultana and the one next to Darpan is Shamim Ara.

  • Do they look like terrorists? Where did the Pakistanis took a wrong turn? I cry for that land, and somewhat satisfied that I left like a coward & will dissipate far away from my land.

  • Please do not think as a Hindu/Sikh/Muslim, and forget about Urdu/Hindi, if you are listening to this then most likely you understand. Leave religion, semantics, political barriers behind; just enjoy this what it is. No divisions, just unity & love. Can we not enjoy our cultural heritage? Do we need to annihilate each other to feel good? NO YOU WILL NOT. Think, elder brother has to sacrifice more to keep the family together. I am dancing & fading away in the darkness.Who is the elder brother?

  • very alla

  • Nayyar Sultana looks like Madhuri

  • though the song is original but its picturisation is direct copy from the song of a bollywood movie Andaz which came way back in 1949.The song was Dar Na Mohabbat Kar Le sung by Lataji and Shamshad. There Dilip Kumar plays piano while the two ladies Nargis and one more sing.

  • how come this song was also picturised on rekha

  • who are these people..? wat if SRK was there in 60's..evergreen..
