  • Did we really leave that hose connected in 20 degree weather and allow a filter to burst?

  • @Livinggreen100 All in the name of science! ;)

  • Do you have a water heater? I don't get the airstream thing. People either hate them or they love them. I hear more love tho. I have a fifth wheel myself. How do you keep your lines from freezing? I want to camp longer into the winter, but then I winterize the trailer and it sucks...

  • @stepfour Yes! Of course we have a water heater! :D Only way to keep lines from freezing is to use the heat furnace (it keeps the pipes warm).

  • Blessings! Thank you! I went to the factory -- I have the feeling you have been there, too, but I don't know for sure. :)

An Airstream dealer in San Antonio told me I'd be ruined after going to the factory. He said I'll never want anything besides an Airstream again. I'm all about the new models! Blessings and love and I'm glad you're here!

  • @CARINLOVESYOU You'll love it! There's nothing like an Airstream. Regarding one of our videos from the factory. YouTube won't let me post a link, but check out video #99 on our Channel. Happy camping!

  • I LOVE watching your videos. Thanks so much for sharing.

Were you able to stay warm inside.

Also, does the AC work well when you are in really warm places that reach high 90's each day

  • im sleeping on the floor of an old houe 1800 squearfett 4 bed rooms k l d 3 baths and the bed in that rv seamed so good and cosy god dam im either crayzy or sothing but thst looked good

  • @CARINLOVESYOU Comments are even better than email because we can share the info with the world. Our Airstream is a 2003 25-foot Classic. I think that all of the modern units have comparable levels of insulation. I have a friend with a 2004 International -- he spent time in wintry Colorado in his Airstream and reported that everything went well. Cheers!

  • Thank you! That's great info to have. Of course I want lots of windows, but this is something to consider as well. Which model do you have? I'm okay if you prefer to email off-line if this is taking up lots of your comments space. :) carin_channing@yahoo.com. Either way! Bless!
