I`m back. Let me clarify something. I don`t dislike all homosexuals, just those like this. Not all gay`s behave this way. Most conduct themselves with dignity unlike this thing up there. If I was a gay man I still would not like Bowery. I would consider him/it a poor representative. No matter who you are; hetero, homo, bi or whatever, clearly bad taste does not discriminate. This is just horrible.

@justnicknet This is my third reply so far so I'll try to make it short, the others are below. So I am sorry to tear down your hero, and you seem quite pleasant, but honestly Leigh Bowery strikes me as abusive and mean-spirited if anything. No kindness or tenderness (He was excessively abusive towards his wife.) and his ntire show and stage prescence seems to be a large cry for attention and his need to be horrific and disgusting as just an attempt to mentally scar people.

@justnicknet And he also tries excssively to hard to copy John Waters. Leigh attempts to come up with the sickest and most perverted ideas, but he simply cannot be John Waters, his style is more obnoxious than cringe-worthy or disgusting and he lacks John Waters' sense of humor and outright cleverness. Leigh Bowery proves that pretending to be something you are not will never compete with true personality. Leigh Bowery isn't genuine, which is why he has no actual style or personality.

@justnicknet There is, in fact, a difference between merely being influenced by another artist and trying to become that artist. Many artists take what they enjoy or admire in another artist's work and make it there own all the same (Inspiration). But Leigh Bowery is more than just emulating Andy Warhols art, he has stated that "I want to be the Andy Warhol of London."
