2003 IC CE In Route and Drop Off

This was bus 40 and I was assigned to ride it for a week or two and I was in love with that bus all over again. Just hearing that DT466E roar and hold it out was amazing. I just hated how this driver was to the bus. He would floor it and when the bus would hold 2550 RPMs, or so, he would yank his foot out causing the bus to jerk really bad just so it would shift.

Never the less, this bus is still just as great as it was when I messed around with it.

Living with the old driver, we got special privileges to be dropped off at the house, lol. Just so we didn't have to walk the drive way. Then he got pissy at the end of the video. We told him a thing or two later on.

I don't ride that bus any longer. I moved out of my dad's house and I rode this bus for two weeks, then put on an EF.

That's weird. Do you mean the regeneration process on it? How do you like that GMC? I've never been on one before. Might be either antifreeze or transmission fluid in it.

Dang. I bet they were better than sliced bread!

I love how this one is if you have your foot about 1/2-3/4 the way; the transmission will launch forward and slide into gear when it shifts. Causing the engine to hit some low RPMs and then the muffler just hit a low growl.

This reminds me of my old school district's CE200s. Except they were AmTrans with T444Es and hydraulic brakes. I remember these were some of the first ones with the new 6 speed transmissions...
