@handidrummed Though a drummer has to be heard. I often come across drummers who are too timid to hit their drums.

If you can play with a light touch like this and with *gasp* DYNAMICS, you can play any style. On the other side of the coin, if you bash the hell out of your drums, when the time comes and someone asks you to play softer either for the needs for the venue or the needs of the music, your ass is going to get canned because you won't be able to do it.
