sorry guys but he just improvised a too much. He shoulda played solo right, its too damn good of a solo to crap it up. takes little skill to improv that much. Not impressed.

I'm a keyboardist, but I asked Jimi to show me scales on guitar so I could try to write on it. At lessons and live, when he played at lightning speed, every note was meaningful musically, not random. He purposefully does not stick to one scale because that would be incredibly tiresome and mundane. Different phrases and scales create interesting harmonies and tensions against one bass line, like at :18. Shredders who stay in one scale are just practicing, boring as hell, nothing musical there.

Jimi Bell is a guitarist out of Conencticut who is also the guitarist for House of Lords
he also invented the shredkneck and he can be found playing on a lot of the music for WWE.... Jimmi is a great guitarist and a speed demond - personally I agree with what SabuPtolemy wrote below and what carouselcarouse also wrote... just my two cents

Well isn't there a lot of bitching going on about Jimi. He's obviously played it a zillion times and is doing his own version with it. You can't hear the music behind him because the camera is dead in front of the quads so you can't honestly judge it in context. Yes he could play a few more of the signature parts I agree but go for it outside of that he's a gun. And he's not hitting random notes. Thats what Vinnie Vincent does man...

Jimi is a excellent guitar player. I had the pleasure of interviewing him a couple weeks ago great guy. He can play circles around Zakk Wylde he shouldve gotten the gig with Ozzy.
