Where abouts do you live? Here in Northern Ohio there's a great State Parks system that's accessible and have wonderful trails to use a wheelchair on. Fairly steep trails that I've gotten past 20 mph by just *coasting* after a few pushes (although the real workout starts when you have to return and go back up... ;-) and a beautiful variety of woodland scenery. A killer place to offroad and do some... "Whiking"? (I'm not sure what else "wheeling" & "Hiking" is... certainly not "healing" :D )

Very cool video, and nice job on the trails! I live right in the middle of a State Parks system that has a number of accessible-yet-fairly-hardcore trails (in terms of width, grading, surface material, etc...) that I'll jump once every few weeks in my Colours "Boing!" w/ suspension and 2" Mountain Bike tread tires - it's absolutely a nice upper-body workout, and I can certainly skip the gym those days!

Seriously, this doesn't look like 'extreme' wheelchair hiking; it looks like regular wheelchair hiking. Though the name gives me plenty of ideas! *schemes*
Also, it would be awesome if more trails like these accessible ones were built... i don't know of any around where i live.

I don't understand, where is the extreme sport part in this? I'm in a wheelchair too and I've been through worse terrein just while birdwatching...or ion my way to school during the winter or on the beach...

Wow, that is amazing:) Especially the part on the boardwalk where your wheels are so close to the edge. Do your shoulders or arms hurt after a trek like that though?
