Albion Normal School's gym

Nestled in the heart of Cassia County, Idaho, the Albion Normal School educated thousands of prospective students from 1893 to the mid 1970s. Today, the campus is owned by a private company that plans to restore many of the buildings. Featured in this video is the former gym. Many of the old lockers as well as some desks still remain from the school's heyday. Also shown is the exterior of the theater, McMurray Hall, Miller Hall, the Museum and the old power plant. The old school is located in Albion Idaho, about 20 minutes from Burley, Idaho. It's also been the site of some paranormal activity. Various ghost hunter organizations have visited the campus and detected some otherworldy life.

You can ask for permission to investigate the site. I called and asked them a few years ago and they said they'd be very interested in a group going and checking it out. If ownership has changed, I don't know how cool the new owners are, things may be different. However, much of the time, if you call the owner/manager of a location and explain what you want to do there, and you don't look like a complete dirtbag, they're usually pretty receptive.

I went to a junior high that they would pay someone $100 to stay in the gym overnight. But, they rebuilt the school a few years ago. there was a custodian who had an infered camera that caught the many ghosts going into the new building as the old one was being knocked down.

I live in Burley. I've always wanted to go there and explore, but I don't want to be arrested for trespassing. Do you know of any way I can get into the buildings legally?

i went there at night before it was quite scary. heard some weird stuff.
