That is way too much work and product. I don't recommend any of this. I've been natural for 2 & 1/2 years and I can honestly say that none of that is necessary. I'm actually upset that black women think they have to go through all of this by just watching this. Utter ridiculousness

I'm totally open to your tips/advice on how to maintain your hair. I made this video because people were asking ME specifically how I get that particular style BUT if you have a less timely and inexpensive way to take care of your hair, im sure EVERYONE on this chain would love to hear it. Shoot, I know I would. And to keep it 100, it's nothing to get upset about. We're all here trying to figure out how to take care and LOVE the mane that we were blessed with. It's a new world to some.

I may do a video tonight, you guys. I got it done last weekend and this lady put so many cool oils in my hair, I havent seen my hair maintain this texture in a minute. I also trimmed/cut it. yay!

what do you do before you go to sleep? do you braid your hair up or just leave it like that?
