Let's Play World of Warcraft - Part 90 - Taking Care Of Business

Part 90 of my 'Let's Play' gameplay and commentary in the MMO, World of Warcraft, by Blizzard Entertainment.

In this episode we settle in Darnassus to catch up on our housework duties, but not before a brief runthrough of the world available in Azeroth and beyond, as we take a look at the maps and geography in the game by request. We train up some of our professions, perform our daily quests, hit the Auction House, and smelt our Ore.

Thank you for showing the map for me (it's me who asked for it few episodes ago). It's really incredible how you reply to all (at least from my experience) comments and even do what we ask for.

And the map is absolutely huge, it shocked me when you did even one more zoomout and showed the Outland :)

What do you think - if somebody teleported you to an unknown area and you wouldn't see the name on the screen, would you recognize it? Are the zones so visually distinct?

@TomKQT ah-ha it was you! =) it's my pleasure, and it was a great question so i was more than happy to answer it. i'm glad you enjoyed it. re your question - and this is probably very sad - i think i know Azeroth more than i know the real world. i could safely say without doubt that i could be shown a picture of any location in WoW and instantly recognise it. even down to the local area name, let alone the zone it's in. as i said, sad ;p

@sambonz Ach, it's not sad, you simply love the game. It's also not so surprising you know the map so well if you have 50 toons (I found this out after I posted the question, you mention it in the comments under ep. 91). The real world is nice too (sometimes), but nobody can know everything :D :D

@TomKQT hehe i do indeed love the game ;p the funny thing is, that i need my iPhone and a GPS app to get around town IRL vs being able to pinpoint and navigate locations in WoW. surely that's not right haha :D
