  • I don't mean to sound mean! But this stuff is poison. The manufacturer of Splenda has admitted that Splenda is a seizure triggering drug. Also aspartame is the most complained-about substance in their history, Google it and don't take it. Run from it. It poison! I personally can tell the second I ingest it, it does many crazy things to my system; including my mind! Imbalance can manifest as mood disorders and seizures.

  • @Nookwerk Stevia extractions, processed by manufacturers are definately not organic.

    Fact:

Stevia extracts are (NutraSweet, Sweet 'N Low, Splenda, Truvia etc) a synthetic chemical compound! And anything synthetic is tailored by man and man-made!

  • Well i read that it does mess with blood sugars. Your body tastes the sweet taste and thinks its sugar and reduces blood sugar to prevent overload. Even worse is that it doesnt have any calorific value, so actually does even more damage.

  • This shit is just as bad as aspartame.

  • Wow, great video although very disturbing!! I use two heaping tablespoons of this stuff DAILY... and have for years and years. In the trash it goes! Can anyone tell me what is a healthy subsitute for sugar would be? I dont want to start using plane old cane sugar again, but clearly Splenda is NOT and option.

Thanks for the insight, my liver is greatful!

  • OK, let's do the math. We drink 2 cups a day at our house. One 2 oz. bottle of Stevia was bought and arrived here middle of April 2009. (I have the email receipt to check that date). The bottle lasted until the middle of September. 5 months. at 30 days per month = 150 days. Two cups per day times 150 equals 300 cups (we sweeten to make sweetness equal to one teaspoon sugar in a cup of coffee, about 8-9 drops of Stevia per cup).

A little two ounce bottle of Stevia goes a long way!

  • One of the few comforts that I get is that the jerk who assaulted me consumes A LOT of Splenda every day, and I mean A LOT. Therefore, he might not live a long and healthy life. I say good riddance.

  • I started drinking a "health" drink with Sucralose and have noticed lately a strange tingling feeling where my kidneys are located. WTF??????

I have a huge box of this stuff and I'm throwing it away. Think I'm going to stick to water and natural, unpasteurized juices from now on.

  • te he he he...good point!

  • Very informative and helpful. Thanks, mike.
