can you clean any gun with carb or brake cleaner? or is that a big NO? thanks

I would say big NO unless you're dealing with severe corrosion and there are no plastic/polymer components. Maybe for cleaning gunk out of an old barrel or components of a parts kit.

hey thx for the vid bro, i would have never been able to do this the right way on my own.....to bad i was using some winchester break powder blast gun cleaner to clean though cause i melted the titanium finish right off the gun : (

Glad you made it through the upgrade--way to go! You might think about refinishing your SD with some matte black Duracoat for a more durable finish. Most smiths can do it or you can give it a whirl provided you prep the surfaces well.

NEXT TIME YOU DO A "FULL TEARDOWN HOW-TO" VIDEO, MAKE SURE YOU DO JUST THAT, AND DON'T DO IT AS AN AFTER THOUGHT! WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER THAN JUST MAKING REFERENCE TO THE THREE BOLT JACKET SCREWS. ALSO, YOU SHOULD KNOW THE SIZE OF YOUR HARDWARE AND THE SIZE OF THE DRIVER NEEDED.
