"...and boring the hell out of people who don't want to hear you 'good news'"
Ha! So well put.

I like the whole "saving your soul issue".
If the entity that is threatening you with torture, is the same entity that is offering you salvation from the torture, then its not really saving you. Its terrorizing and extorting you.

ALTHOUGH I'M A CONSERVATIVE CHRISTIAN (Baptist), I no longer believe that the Bible teaches eternal torment or suffering. The Bible teaches eternal punishment, but it's not eternal torment. In my popular Internet article, TRADITIONAL DOCTRINE OF HELL EVOLVED FROM GREEK ROOTS, I explain how and why teaching of eternal torment entered early into Christianity and how Scriptures have been misinterpreted and taken out of context to support that teaching. ~Babu G. Ranganathan (B.A. theology/biology)
I'm an Atheist, but why make the 10 commandments of Atheism so fuckin' "Bilblical" sounding? "Thou shalt" and all that shit? Just say what you mean. Don't act like they were written when the real fake Commandments were. Lol.

@snatchpro Good point, but I was just playing off the bible lingo. I, um, wouldn't recommend you watching my "What the Bible SHOULD have said" video. LOL :)

I'm a Christian as well. I guess I'm here to just apologize for the history of the religious fundamentalist/extremist. I do not condone anything evil done in the name God and would at least hope that an atheist or christian or anyone would keep an open mind to the possibility that men and women on both sides of the tables can be credited with having brains. I just feel like there is a lot of intelligence bashing, one verses the other and I've always felt it should be an open debate.

@Theprophetzarat I totally agree.. I married a Christian, but she's a very intelligent, open-minded, kinda and loving, Christian as was my mother. But she's a Christian in name only. But she does not support the dogmatic positions of Christianity. i.e. The belief in Hell, or that man is born a dirty sinner, or the world will end shortly, or that children should be brainwashed with dogma.
I believe that Christianity, per se, could be saved my keeping the good parts, and chucking the bad.

I'm a Christian, yet I follow the '10 Atheist Commandments.'
I'd describe myself as an agnostic Christian, if that makes sense. I believe in the Christian God, and that he sent Jesus to die for our sins, but I take a lot of the bible with a grain of salt. There's no way of truly knowing, but for some reason, I believe.

@animegirl113 Thanks for the comments! I grew up a christian, and was a believer until age 22 . It's hard not to believe when you've been taught that God is real from your earliest years. And the threat of Hell it drilled into us so completely, that even some Atheists struggle with the fear years after they stop believing in it. It's an irrational fear, and an irrational concept. Keep questioning! :) And be sure to see my whole series. Thanks!
