Our German wirehaired pointer playing the hi-hat and bass drum! He'll often do this on his own initiative in attempt to get our attention and obviously a treat. Very noisy dog. ;)
When people call us to talk to my husband Alex (who's a pro drummer) it's sometimes hard to convince them that he's not at home .. and no, it's not him but the DOG playing drums in the background!

  • I went to high school with the person who now heads the percussion department at Juilliard. I emailed him this video with the subject line, "Ready for Juilliard?" and he responded, "WOW....amazing, but we'll have to work on limb independence." Thought you'd like to know your dog is now known to a world-class percussionist. :-)

  • @Shandelar

LOL, excellent .. thanks. He'll be very happy to know!! I'll tell him as soon as he's done with today's lesson (brushes and paradiddles). ;-)

  • have you tried setting up a left handed kit for him? looks like it would be easier, and then lay the snare where he can hit it with his nose or a stick held in his mouth. it would be awesome if it would work. hehe, :0)
