  • Two reasons - 1) Many people are using Audacity, and I wanted to show how you could bridge between them

    2) I have a long archive of stuff I recorded with Audacity that I'm still working through for Return to Northmoor...

All the new stuff I record is direct into REAPER....

  • Tim, this is great. Thanks.

  • Thank you for the great tutorial. Learning about ripple editing will save me a huge amount of hassle - thanks!

  • audacity isnt great, but its free. you cant really complain its very appreciatable. reaper is absolutely amazing... coming from someone who uses pro-tools, sony acid, fl studio, and adobe audition

  • Thanks Cy,

Old to music but new to Reaper. I learned a lot from this tutorial. I had to go ahead and buy Reaper as it is really a great suite!

How about more Reaper tutorials, if you have the time.

  • Thanks for putting this video together! I'm curious, though... why are you recording with Audacity instead of with Reaper?
