Dragon Flight - Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2

Me playing this breathtaking piece by Alexandre Desplat from the final Harry Potter movie - The Deathly Hallows Part 2. This is probably my favourite piece from the soundtrack.

Listen out for the hint of Hedwigs theme leading up to a slight re-working of Lily's Theme which acts as the main theme to this piece.

This is my own piano arrangement by ear, and yes it was not easy to learn by ear, but I think I managed to do a pretty good job in the end. Certainly one of the hardest pieces I have had to learn by ear, quite proud of this performance on the whole too.

Love it, as well as Statues. Along with another's comment, I enjoyed the music from How to Train Your Dragon as well. Especially what was playing during the screen where Toothless was drawing in the dirt.

"Dragon Flight" is surely one of my favourite songs from Deathly Hallows Part 2 soundtrack (along with "Statues", "Courtyard Apocalypse", "The Grey Lady" and "Broomsticks and Fire" just to name a few). The only track I can't stand is "Neville"; that song bores the shit out of me. "The Obliviation" from Part 1 is one of my favourites as well. And this version of yours is just breathtaking. Congrats.
