Yeah of course your guitar sounds great, I'm sure Dean used their greatest wood and their greatest luthiers to make those. Unfortunately (and unlike other brands), they produce the factory copies of those with the most ******** woods they can use. So people think they bought the same guitar than you but made in a factory but the graf' art is the only thing in common

@Distollica Actually the guitar Michael is holding is from the same run you'll find in the stores. So, you are incorrect. and you are also incorrect with the "unlike other factories". All guitar brands have their high-end models as well as overseas factories.

@Distollica Thats not true. A friend of mine is a guitar-engineer at Gibson (he also worked for ESP and Jackson) and he told me that wood is only 5% of the guitar sound. It just a internet and layman/ amateur thing. and a thing for salesman to make you buy expensive guitars. one of the elite guitar-builder (he made the guitar for jazz legend jimmy bruno) made a guitar from the cheapest woods he could find. and no socalled "expert" recognize the difference to a 6000$ guitar. real talk.

@ducky811 with out a doubt the smartest thing ive read here. i agree with you one hundred percent, as musicians it is our prerogative to be unique. in order to do that you have to take the time to find the equipment that will fit you and give you your tone your style your sound. like you its washburn MGs for me its a combination of bc rich jrv's and esp ex's, emg pick=ups (81's in the bcr's- 88's in the esp's). ambs are VHT pitbull ultra leads 2-4x10 bandits/ 2-4x12 celestion v30. rock on
