Of all of the explanations for this song's lyrics that I've seen, no one mentioned the river of doubt and the line "I can't begin to explain how."

The river of doubt clearly symbolizes the roots of Moroccan anarchism in economical Marxism. It is meant to underline the nihilism adopted by many disenfranchised youth on the streets of Rabat, Morocco.

"I can't begin to explain how" is obviously a euphemism for the Spanish Inquisition's tendency of appearing in a manner unsolicited and unforeseen.
