From a trip in early 2010 to Iten, Kenya. Iten and the surrounding cities and villages are home to past, present and future stars of running. The fast Kenyans may have some physical advantages to "normal" runners, but don't be mistaken, they train as hard (or even harder) than you can imagine.

But what the hell do you mean by "normal" runners?? Are black people not considered "normal" humans by your standards?

I very much consider black people normal people. Absolutely no doubt about that.
What I mean by the term "normal" is, a normal runner will probably never obtain the same level as East African runners when it comes to long distance running like 10k to marathon even if he or she tries. Africans are so talented and work so hard to be the best they can be that Western runners simply can't keep up. I deeply respect African runners which is why I made the video and posted it.
