La Tzoumaz to Bonatchiesse

On Monday we hiked from Chalet La Luge in La Tzoumaz to Cabane de Louvie with 1398m of climbing and 787m of descending. We stayed the night at Cabane de Louvie which is in a stunning location and then on Tuesday we moved on to Cabane de Chanrion at the end of Lac de Mauvoisin with 1882m of climbing and 1647m of descending. Cabane do Chanrion was busy but we had a good meal and enjoyed our stay. Wednesday we headed back hiking the other side of Lac de Mauvoisin to Bonatchiesse with1073m of climbing and 1886m of descending. We had a well deserved drink and ice cream in the sunshine at the Cafe de la Promenade while we waited for the bus that took us to Le Chable. We met up with Alex at Le Chable who kindly drove us up to Verbier and then over the Croix de Coeur back to La Tzoumaz. After a quick shower we went to "Chez Alex" (Bar des Etablons) and sunk a few glasses!
