ADOPT ME! "Laptop" Will Warm Your Lap and Your Heart!

Laptop is a spayed, female, calico/tabby cat living in Houston, TX. She is about one year old, and getting an early start towards being the world's best lap cat! Once we set her on a lap for the first time, she never wanted to get off!

Laptop is healthy, but she does need to see a dentist about juvenile gingivitis. She may end up needing some or all of her teeth pulled. She already knows how to swallow her dry cat food without chewing, so feeding her won't be any problem. If anything, she'll eat even better when she's all gums because her teeth won't hurt anymore!

Laptop will be a cozy addition to any home.

Nikita isn't as cuddly as other kitties, but she's a kooky, crystal-eyed beauty who loves to play, lick toes, and will hunt down every bug in your house. What Nikita lacks in cuddliness, she more than makes up for in entertainment value! -- and Laptop loves her.

LAPTOP NEEDS:

- To see a dentist and possibly have teeth pulled.

- A round or pill-shaped dry cat food, like Purina ProPlan, that will be easy to swallow. (Or wet cat food if you'd like to spoil her a bit!)

- As many laps as your family can provide.

TERMS OF ADOPTION:

- You will be asked to pay a nominal adoption fee, only to discourage unscrupulous collectors of "free" animals. You may donate the amount to your favorite animal charity or shelter.

- You will be asked to provide a veterinary reference that we can call to confirm responsible pet ownership.

- You will be asked to arrange transportation for Laptop if you live more than 200 miles outside of Houston, or if you live outside of Texas.

- If, for whatever reason, you decide not to keep Laptop, you must promise to return her to her foster care here, rather than relinquish her to the shelter system.

i live in houston is she potty trained to go outside and not inside like dogs thats just the way my family does it because mom doesnot like litter boxes and does she get along with other cats?

Laptop is litterbox trained. She hasn't tried to go outside since we took her in. But, since she was dewormed she's had no accidents in the house, so she could possibly be trained to go outside if she has 24-hour access to a dog/cat door.

She tolerates other cats. We have one belligerent cat whom she'll growl at, but she hasn't gotten into any fights. She plays a little with the cats she likes, but mostly she's a lazybones.

Your mom sounds like a responsible person.

I'm sorry we can't train Laptop here. There are several strays in our neighborhood, and the possibility is too high that Laptop could catch worms or other diseases outside. (Which is fine for anyone who can afford to treat her -- we believe in cats being cats -- but in our situation we don't have the money to allow it.)

Omg, I love that kitty. I need a lap warmer like that, it looks so warm, so soft, so furry, so cute, so playful, so nice to be with, I love kitties, I love kitties! I wish I could get it =/ but my little niece is allergic to cats...life is not fair when others throw off the balance for you.
