For the second year in a row Ann Marie, Dave, AJ, Fairyonna, Jess, Brad and I gathered at the 20th Maine monument on Little Round Top for our Sunday morning shindig. The song "Dixieland" was originally written and performed by Steve Earle,it pays homage to the fictional character "Buster Kilrain" from the book "The Killer Angels" and the movie "Gettysburg". It as well tells the story of the forgotten heroes who sacrificed so much during the years 1861-1865.
