Scanlon & Scanlon's 1944 classic "Latin Grammar" is meant to provide the student with full knowledge of all the vocabulary in the pre-Vatican II Breviary and Missal thru the course of one year of study. However some may find the book difficult to use because of sparse explanations and lack of an answer key. However, if one is highly motivated and not afraid to seek out additional sources for confusing grammatical questions, the book is a nice shortcut around Classical Latin if one only wants to know the language for the TLM and EF Breviary.
