Irish history with Pat Flannery. This was filmed 6/4/07. A very interesting talk on the system of law that was native to Ireland and existed all the way up to the 1600's when the Gaelic nobility was finally overthrown by English forces. • Briathar also means a Judgment or a sentence. Breathamh is a Judge so tho' they are close, they are different.

Breitheamhnas tuaithe, is indeed the old Irish legal system.

    Bring it back I say.

  • Breitheamh is not the Word , Briathar is the Word . Example, Bhi an Briather ann agus bhi an Briathar fara Dia agus b'e Dia an Briathar .

In principio erat Verbum et Verbum erat apud Deum,et Deus erat Verbum.

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

  • I think the word for which he is looking is a 'doccument'
