Even if the bruising came from The Briggs' - then why did she die in the care of Raye Dawn and Mike Porter, also if you read the book "Who Killed Kelsey" you will read that a doctor said the type of blow Kelsey suffered took longer than half an hour, and Porter says he was only with Kelsey for half an hour. So either Raye Dawn hit Kelsey, or Mike is lying about how long he spent with Kelsey. Also the "sexual assult" injuries could of been caused by a kick to the privates or butt.

@sostarstruck14 The who killed Kelsey book is a book written from one perspective, the Briggs, so it is therefore biased, it is also filled with errors and untruthts. if Kelsey suffered a blow longer than half an hour she would have been extreme pain, and not sleeping when Raye left. I don't believe a kick to the privates causes 'Patterned injury of forcible sexual assualt is present'... taken from Kelsey's 2nd autopsy, I also don't think a kick would cause a tear in the rectum.

@Lcpfc Actually the book is written by two news reporters. And I was willing to believe it could of been Kathie, but why would someone killing someone seek help? And again, it comes down to the final blow, it was in Mike and Raye's care - there fore it can't of been Kathie. Also in the WKK book it says a worker with Raye dawn said that Raye dawn admitted to hitting kelsey through the diaper with a hairbrush but she said she

@sostarstruck14 Yes I know the book was written by two reporters, I've made a video about it, you should check it out. You know Terri Sigman, (Kelsey's stepmother) has called the book a book of lies. I'm not saying that Kathie killed Kelsey, I'm saying Mike Porter Killed Kelsey, but because of the trauma Kelsey had been going through from the Jan of 2005 it was unclear as to what was causing her problems, Raye never suspected Mike.

@Lcpfc I thought Kelsey's I agree, but the court even looked at trialing Kathie Briggs and couldn't find anything against her because all the incidents happened at Rayes. Also Kelsey's head was said to of been hit against a brick wall, so she would of experienced a lot of pain before the final blow. And how can we be certain she wasn't in pain when with her mummy? - I'm not saying Raye did anything but she should of asked kelsey if someone was hitting her.

30 year plea for child abuse and never having to register as a sex offender? Are they freaking serious? The guy murdered an innocent child....a child related to you stupid ass people and you acting like he didn't do a damn thing. Trying to blame the mother just cause ya'll don't like her or something. @karissalynn326 I came to that very same conclusion. How can you change her diaper and not notice anything. Not to mention your child is having one accident after another.. I know kids are clumsy and all but come on. Losing her hair, not eating, withdrawls, turning from a happy go lucky baby, to a baby that doesnt wanna be bothered with and is always sleeping. Also if the step sister couldve spoken up earlier, maybe that couldve helped a little bit. But she was probably terrified as well.

I dont know what truly happened, only little Kelsey & God knows as well as those who abused her. It takes a really sick individual to harm a poor defenseless little baby. Poor baby, all she wanted was someone to love her unconditionally. What really happened, in all these stories, they make it out to be everyone that came in contact with her on both sides, couldve played a role in her child abuse/death. It just sickens me to think that this piece of crap can live with himself. RIP Kelsey <3

I have been reading about this and watching the things posted about this for a couple of days now, what I dont understand is why if Mike Porter hurt your child, molested your innocent little baby girl and killed her.. would you wanna make a bargain to give this heartless murderer/child abuser a lighter a sentence.. I dont understand. In my opinion he should be burning in a firery hell for what he did to this beautiful little girl, who couldnt defend herself. This makes me sick.

Smoking mirrors...he did it. Kelseys mother must have been blind, deaf and dumb not to know this was going on.....2 broken legs, for goodness sake this would have rung alarm bells. Even Porter's daughter stated that Porter would push Kelsey's head into walls when they went on outings. So much blame being deflected. She was a neglectful mother who contributed to her childs death. THATS the truth. Good thing they're both in jail.

Had she done everything in her power to save her child, she still would be alive today. Good thing she´s in jail, Her daughter is dead because she neglected her. My son bit and was agressive at a young age but I helped him and he is now the best student in his class and the most well behaved child ever. She didn´t care about her child there for she is in jail and she needs to stay there.
