@herrgolf it was bad what happened to people in "krajina" but although they had to leave their homes they were alive. It was tragic what happened to people in Vukovar, Osijek, Škabrnja and so on, they are dead!

1. Croatia held democratic elections and a referendum where by far large majority declared their wish to leave Yugoslavia. Secession was guaranteed by the Yugoslav constitution in its borders and given that the referndum was held. The conditions were met.
2. That is a highly doubtful statement as you cannot prove it. Also considering most weapon was in Serbian hands.
3. 75-80% of Yugoslav Army command were Serbs which was highly disproportional in any way you look at it.

@S3RB4LIF3 Nemoj gluposti pisati i naravno lagati.Oko granica nema diskusije, to je sve Hrvatsko. Sto su Srbi napustili svoju domovinu nesmije se kriviti Hrvatsku nego su zato krivi sami Srbi.Nisu Hrvati prolili prvu krv nego su to bili Srbi i tada jos nisu ni bili tamo UN- vojnici.

the stupidest way to capture a dvd

I deny this! And now go and cry me a river...

I DARE YOU TO DENY THIS:
- Croatia unilaterally declared independence from Yugoslavia before any sort of border discussions could be discussed peacefully, leave hundreds of thousands of serbs left outside of their homeland which would lead to obv revolt.
- The first shots were fired by CROATIAN INDEPENDENCE GORILLA MOVEMENTS at the JNA. AS STATED IN MANY U.N DOCUMENTS.
- The JNA has a huge amount of Croats in command during the war E.G. Navy and Airforce. so it was not a Serb-run Army...
For all of us in Croatia the truth is of the greatest interest. And the truth is that the Homeland War was defensive, legal, legitimate and libratory. Croatia was the victim of aggression and had the right to self-defence and the liberation of its occupied territories. Those are truths that no one can deny.

Thank you for placing this video. It is difficult to forget the suffering of so many people. I was in croatia in october 1995 during the conflct with an aid convoy and have never forgotten the many harrowing experiences I witnessed during my journey and witnessed so much suffering.
