Would it be fair to say this game is like Morrowind mmorpg'd? Thinking of playing and trying to get an ida of what the core gameplay is like

Sorry I haven't played that game, I've only played UO prior to this one, for ranged archery/magic it's first person, for melee skills it's 3rd person,

You have to work up skills and stats over time by using them.

Hell yea! Good fights. My first time on a ship and the best time I've had yet in this game. Haven't been to a seige yet as I usually only play during the day.

@iamnotlame yea on the most basic level, distilled 99% that is the console game it is most similar to, though it really isn't comparable. morrowind was great though, but DF is a horse of a different color... with wings... and armor and stuff. the client is small but the game is huge - like 20-30 gigs i think, but worth the $1 7 day trial

@wangtangchangbang Ah right, morrowind was an xbox(the original xbox) and pc game, single player rpg.

The skill progession and combat look similar.

How noob friendly is this? Im gonna start the trial off tomorrow i think, how big is the client to DL?
