@SandyEquineSpirit I'm so sorry for your loss. I see videos like this and I miss my perch so much. You say here he was able to do the collected movements well for a percheron,(and he does) but want to tell you that the classical body types of percheron (not the new high stepping hitch types) actually do well! even the purebreds. What helps so much is that they are so smart and kinestetically, they will learn so much. I care to share and spread what I know about perches. Thank for posting this <3

They were really good, but still.. i don't think the horse is enjoying it... I think she was kinda rough with her legs.

I wish I knew what you said...could you translate to english? or maybe someone else could. Thanks! We will be having our Equestrian Theater in spring 2010 so keep an eye on my website for dates!

This is an awesome show. My daughter goes to this school and I've been to 3 shows. They have them every year. It is first class and should have more national attention. Some of their riders are about 8 years old. They work hard for months to put this show together. There are about 12 skits, lots of imagination and great horsemanship. A must see for horse lovers.

Sandy, I think of the mare Blue Whorse Matinee when I see Max go. You are both beautiful!!! Truely wonderful light dressage! I pray my mare has a baby just like Max. I am breeding my Trak/Tb mare to a percheron stallion. I just can't tell you was a pleasure it was to watch your videos on such a perfect horse! Jaime in Ocala, Florida

No, I have not attempted to ride side saddle, I do believe that Sabine-Schut Kery rides her Friesians side saddle and that is beautiful.

Thank you everyone for viewing my ride with Max-I miss him a lot, we lost him last year to a complicated colic. This wasn't our best ride but I wanted him to be remembered and seen by many people. He was a big teddy bear and loved the audience. For a Percheron cross he was able to do the collected movements quite well.
