Twenty years ago this week, a really fun band from San Jose, California did their final show. Kooch Bahar made their final hurrah at the coolest musical dive of the time, Marsugi's Bar & Grill on December 17, 1988.

Kooch Bahar were Paula Lykins & Sean McFarland on lead vocals, Mike McFarland on guitar, Craig Stinette on bass, and Dave Rubin on drums.

As this was the absolute final song performed by the band, and the encore of the show, they leave with a cool drum jam and a totally improvised rendition of LOUIE LOUIE, that rockin song which I am quite attached to (note the LouieLouie.net graphic overlay).

Theres a handful of members of Dot 3 joining them on this song, including Chris Mondt on vocals, as well as horn players Ken Schick, Les Harris, drummers Mark Renner, Mike Freitas, and some other beautiful people whose names escapes me right now. What the hey.. after twenty years .... I cannot remember everything...
