A few weeks ago, my professor had a discussion on near death experiences (including his own) and I through out the idea that it may just be similar to sleep paralysis (as i've encountered many times), where we are re-entering the conscious realm but still stuck in REM and not a supernatural phenomenon where we are experiencing 'the other side.' Any suggestions or comments are always appreciated :)
@leegwyn412 not to be horrible by the way :-)

@UgetMe09 What ever, you still can't die from it. You go through it every day, you just don't wake up during it. If you didn't have it, you would have probably broken your neck already from acting out your dreams while asleep. It's healthy, and you will not die from it.

what a load of BULSHIT
You wount die its normal infact its healthy and makes you live longer
this is scientific and is caused by an imbalnce of chemicals because of some unkown reason (lucidologisys are reaserching it)
EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU SLEEP you paralize yourself to stop you acting out your dreams. Because your still in that dreamy state you may start to hallucinate (see things that arnt there). You may think theres something in your room making it happen. If you want to stop it then foc

when ive had SP ive often have out of body experiances where ive floated arounded my house and gone other places. and i have to say they are nothing like a dream. im so concious and so aware even more than when i have a lucid dream. and ive proven it ( to myself atleast) by finding something in my house that i didnt know was there and then validate it when i woke up..

Are you serious? Near death experience is that, “near death,” When people have actually died clinically and have come back or “resuscitated/revived.” You are a university student and you don’t know these terms or have any knowledge of it? Change professors. You could also get answers from a KING JAMES BIBLE.
