The Desire of all Nations
In the hearts of all mankind there are inexpressible longings for something they do not now possess. This longing is implanted in our very nature by our heavenly Father so that man may not be satisfied with his present condition or attainment. True happiness is not found in pleasure, wealth, and a life of ease, fame or power. All of these leave the soul barren and unsatisfied. It is God's design that this longing of the human heart should led to the One who alone is able to satisfy it and that fullness of life is found only in Jesus Christ, the Son of the eternal God. Haggai, the prophet, says of Him who is soon to come and shake all nations: "For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land; And I will shake all nations, and the desire of all nations shall come: and I will fill this house with glory, saith the LORD of hosts." Haggai 2:6, 7.
God's kingdom is soon to be established here on earth and all nations will see it before "the desire of all nations shall come." The promise and prophecy of Isaiah to His people is: "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double for all her sins. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. " Isaiah 40:1-5.
Soon, the "Desire of all nations" shall come. Soon, " the chiefest among ten thousand" will appear. SS 1:10. 5:16 "His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem. " SS 5:16. Here in this book and in these videos is revealed Jesus Christ, the fullness of the Godhead, the merciful Saviour of all sinners, the Sun of righteousness, the Prince of the House of David, the Shield of His people, the Prince of peace, the coming King and the desire and hope of all nations.
