Toshio Nakanishi aks Tycoon Tosh in Tokyo

Toshio Nakanishi aka Tycoon Tosh and before that aka Plastics, Melon, and Major Force was the first punk band in Tokyo. He was the founding member of Plastics in 1976 at the age of 20. He is also the first to bring Hip Hop to Japan with Major Force. Recently he released unreleased cuts on TycoonTo$h Major Force London Years. He is a guitarist and percussionist, an artist and a graphic designer and was greatly admired as a painter by Jean Michel Basquiat. I had the pleasure of meeting him in March 09 in Tokyo.
