Dan Abrams confronts Fox accusations against Chris Matthews

Dan Abrams--most recently GM of MSNBC--looks at the laughably petulant and childish insinuations being made at FOXNews about Chris Matthews, moderator of last night's GOP debate. Apparently, the team over at FOXNews is incensed that Tweety would dare to say anything about the White House trying to control the flow and framing of the news and thereby taint George Bush as being anything less than the masterful Commander in Chief they say he is.

So what is the propaganda arm of the White House to do? Suggest that Chris Matthews is too liberal to be an unbiased moderator for the Republican debate, unlike their fair and balanced Sean Hannity and Brit Hume.

Yes it says that Shep is getting fired as soon as his contract is up. There's a big difference between MSNBC seeking out a conservative voice and giving that voice a prominent platform and Fox News hiring an anchor they thought was a "good team player" who then slowly turned away from the GOP and now is a not so secret Fox News programming hater.

Ok you fuckin republicans, here's the deal. CNN and msnbc are more democratic in their view. Fox news IS a republican channel. BUT they are the channel that boast s "fair and balanced". If your gonna say it, be it. From the morning shows to the nite shows it's 90% GOP views.

@jensen1901 Mike is a liberal so Joe's show is a conservative, Joe, and cohosted with Mika, a liberal. Pat Buchannan does not run the show but appears as a guest. I watched this morning and there was no Pat. They rotate guests in of all kinds so you summary is incorrect. Where is the dominant liberal show on Fox? Well, there is no dominant conservative show on msnbc unless you refer to Chris, Dan, Keith, Lawrence, and others. You want a liberal in the morning of fox? Go for Greta at six, LOL

conservatives believe in small government, thats it. has nothing to do w/ morals, taxes, or rights. all other debates should not be drawn upon party lines, but they are. thats why all the fighting over nothing when we got REAL problems.
